I consider myself to be primarily a 3D artist, but in my 13 years working in the game-dev industry I've done a little of everything - animation, rigging, VFX, design, character art and environment art.


WORK EXPERIENCE
I started my game development career 13 years ago as a junior environment artist at Pandemic Studios. Since then I've worked at various studios both in Australia and internationally, as well as doing some freelance and outsourcing work for all aspects of game-art production.

SOFTWARE PROFICIENCY
My ideal production suite would include Blender, zBrush, Photoshop, DDO, and UE4, but throughout my game-dev career I've been exposed to (and become highly proficient with) various packages including:
3D - 3DS Max, Maya, Softimage, Blender.
2D - Illustrator, Photoshop, NDO, DDO
Engines - Unity 4/5, UE3/4, Rhino, CryEngine.

SKILLS
My primary fields are character art and environment art, and within those fields I'm capable of the complete production pipeline including modelling, sculpting, retopologising, unwrapping, baking, texturing, shader creation, rigging, animating.
I've had experience working with widely varying workflows, art-styles, and production methodologies.
